Flame Retardant Fabrics

We are Europe’s leading supplier of Flame Retardant finished fabrics for workwear, with decades of experience. Our focus is on the market’s evolving needs to create the ultimate protection. To do this, we work with garment manufacturers and rental laundries to develop flame retardant fabrics that meet Industry, European and Industrial Laundry standards. 

Fabrics that combine versatile performance with outstanding wearer comfort, appearance and durability. All produced in of the most modern bleaching, dyeing, printing and finishing facilities in the world.

It’s an extensive range that protects against specific or multiple hazards including: fire, heat, static electricity, sparks, metal splash, chemical splash, electric arc, crude and mineral oil, acid solutions, poor visibility, foul weather and wind and low temperatures.

Technical Multi-norm

Workers need protection not only to existing norms, but also those anticipated in coming years. As standards become increasingly global, we are meeting this increasing market demand for multi-norm fabrics across a wide spectrum of industries.

These include Foundries, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas. Within this fabric range we offer options to suit different comfort levels linked to specific protection. For example, extremes of heat, humidity and low temperature.

For Electricity and Energy companies needing advanced uniform conformity against Flash Fire and Electric Arc - where European and American norms differ - Carrington offer multi-layer solutions that will pass both certifications.

Our ongoing developments include an Inherent Flame Retardant suite of products. We’re also expanding our waterproof, breathable, coated and laminated versions of some of our existing treated Flame Retardant products – and offering new products in nylon and polyester base fabrics.
