At Carrington we’re always looking for new people that can bring fresh impetus. People who can bring their own innovative thinking, helping to strengthen all areas of our operations and maintain our position as a world class team.
In fact, during 2016 we implemented a major recruitment phase that saw our workforce grow by an impressive 20%.
And as we’re a truly international company, two of our most recent appointments have been made to increase our presence in the vitally important European market – where we’re expanding our capacity to more than 50 million metres this year.
So let’s introduce the new talents that will help us in our quest for new ways to shape the future of personal protective wear.
Meet Isabelle Dias, our new Market Manager in France . . .
Isabelle’s appointment reflects our commitment to expansion within the French market – and we believe she will be a real asset with her understanding of the important role that innovation plays in the workwear sector.
A graduate of Lyon Institute of Textiles and Chemicals, Isabelle has been a textile engineer for 20 years and is a specialist in PPE with a particular interest in technical products and protective fabrics. She has a wealth of experience of European markets, having worked closely with some of the biggest names in the market.
In Isabelle’s own words:
“Carrington stands out from the crowd because of its unwavering commitment to innovation, in launching new protective product ranges. Our objective is to make Carrington the leading provider of technical fabrics in Europe and beyond.”
. . . and welcome Heinz Wilbring, new Market Manager in Germany
Heinz’s appointment builds on our growth in the German market, where he has a long and successful track record. This includes over 34 years’ experience, including 22 years as sales manager at IBENA Textiles Ltd. His most recent post was as sales director of Schümer Textiles Ltd, a position he held for the last two years.
Heinz holds a Bachelor's degree in trade from the German Chamber of Commerce in Münster, and has been a member of several industry bodies, including the German Federal Association of Textile Services (INTEX) and the Economic Association for Textile Services (WIRTEX).
Here’s what Heinz says about his new position:
‘‘The opportunity to join Carrington, and steer the company's sales strategy in Germany, was too good to pass up. Through its core competences and its vertical orientation, the company has created perfect conditions in which to serve individual market segments and tailor solutions according to special user-stipulated requirements.”
