Pincroft’s Alan Robinson becomes Mayor of Adlington

Pincroft in the heart of the community

Good luck to our new mayor

Being a part of the local community is hugely important here at Pincroft – especially at our UK factory in Adlington, Lancashire, where we can trace textile production all the way back to the 1760s. Many of our staff have been with us for 30 years or more and are active participants at local clubs or events, as well as sitting on regional charity boards and societies.

Alan Robinson is one such person – previously Deputy Mayor of Adlington for 3 months, he officially took over as Mayor on the 8th May 2017! Having lived and worked in the town all his life, Alan joined the production facility at Pincroft when he was just 17, working his way up to dye house supervisor and then shift dyer. As Mayor, he will be responsible for representing the town at events in and out of Adlington and meeting as much of the local community as possible in the next twelve months.

We’re thrilled to have Alan in our team and wish him every luck in his role as Mayor.
