Garment of the Month: Securline Multinorm Jacket and Trousers made with Flamestat 290

Our first Garment of the Month feature introduces Hungarian Minerva Team’s ‘Securline Multinorm Jacket and Trousers’ made with Carrington Textiles flame retardant with antistatic fabric Flamestat 290.

Offering comfortable freedom due to its design without compromising the safety of the wearer, this Securline Multinorm garment is ideal for working environments where flash fire is possible, including chemical plants and the oil and gas industry. This PPE is also suitable for welders and disaster protection workers, as it provides protection against electric arc.

In terms of design, the jacket features adjustable cuffs with a standing collar and two chest pockets, as well as sewn in high visibility flame retardant reflective tapes on torso and arms. While the trousers incorporate adjustable waist width, patented rear and side tool pockets, sewn in high visibility flame retardant tapes on the legs, and knee pad pockets.

Focusing on the fabric itself, Flamestat 290 is a 75% cotton, 24% polyester and 1% antistatic flame retardant textiles which at a weight of 290 gsm, offers not only excellent and certified performance against heat, flame, electric arc and chemical splash, but also accredited high visibility options.

Tested to withstand 50 industrial washes at 75ºC, Carrington Textiles’s Flamestat 290 is an excellent multinorm fabric that is guaranteed to protect the wearer wash after wash for the lifetime of the garment. Download certificate or visit the Flamestat 290 page for details.
