The excitement has been building for months . . . and the long wait is now over as the doors open on the exciting new ‘Inspire’ project. This purpose-built development is dedicated to the young people of Chorley - from the age of eight and all the way through to late teens and early twenties.
The town of Chorley is on the doorstep of our headquarters here in Lancashire, the historic heart of the textile industry. So we were delighted to become involved with our local community as one of the Founder Patrons of Inspire right from the very beginning.
The landmark building in the centre of Chorley is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and cost approximately £8 million to construct and fit out – and will cost around £650k annually to run. So, the support of local businesses is essential to its success.
As a company we are deeply committed to investing in a brighter future, and we believe that starts with helping young people to have more access to opportunities. At Inspire they’ll be able to enjoy a whole range of activities and challenges. From sports, arts, music and drama workshops - to practical sessions on topics such as employability and mentoring. And equally important, it will be somewhere to go and have fun!
Live nearby? Then come and enjoy all the action in a great family day out at the grand opening of Inspire on May 5th.
