Sustainability in its many forms is now a major issue across the globe – and where better to demonstrate our commitment to it than at Techtextil in Frankfurt this May. At this MAJOR biannual event, the textile world gathers to see the trends that are shaping the future. The ideas in action that will sustain the industry, the workforce . . . and ultimately, the world itself. Innovations that will create new opportunities for designers and manufacturers to deliver the next generation of products that reflect the growing awareness of environmental concerns.
As a signatory to the Climate Change Charter, Carrington is at the forefront of this mission, developing new and more acceptable solutions in the form of fabrics that are produced and processed more responsibly and ethically. To do so, we’ve invested significantly over recent years in new research and manufacturing facilities. To give just one example, we’ve installed one of the largest heat recovery systems of its type in the world, reducing our annual CO2 emissions by over 4,000 tonnes.
Our commitment is also clearly demonstrated in the fabrics we now offer, with new additions that are more eco-friendly in the way they are produced and finished. There’s a lot to tell you on this subject, so why not join us to see all the new possibilities and hear about the many benefits?
Here are the details for your diary: Hall 4.1 Stand D17, at Frankfurt am Main on the 14th-17th of May. We look forward to seeing you at Techtextil, and sharing our vision of a more sustainable future with you.
