Stores Person


We are looking for a self-motivated Stores Person to join our team working within an established engineering department, this will be a hands-on role and will require strong administration skills.

As Stores Person you will report to the engineering manager but will be given the autonomy to make the role your own.

Duties Include

  • Stock Control/Goods Receipt/Stores Management.
  • Raising and Issuing PO’s.
  • Issuing PTW’s/Contractor Controls.
  • Administration Tasks.
  • Updating the Appropriate Systems (i.e., Reactive Maintenance, PPM etc.).
  • Service Contract Control.
  • Liaising with the wider engineering department to reduce machine downtime.

The ideal candidate

  • Has Stores Person experience in a similar role but this is not essential.
  • Proactive and able to use own initiative.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Willing to assist with the wider team when needed.
  • Some knowledge of mechanical parts would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.

This is a Permanent position and salary will be awarded dependent on experience.
