Textile Technologist/Technician
The Role
To oversee and technically support the processes of dyeing, printing and finishing of technical textile fabrics, ensuring product quality, consistency and efficiency in line with customer specifications, expectations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Technical support working closely with Operations, R&D and Quality departments
- Trial management end to end through process
- Data collection, analysis and reporting
- Reporting findings and presenting results to wider team
- Deliver process optimisation initiatives and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with technical, quality, safety and environmental standards and specifications
- Troubleshooting problems and developing solutions

Qualifications
- Recognised qualification e.g. HND/Degree in a subject related to textile technology such as:
- Textile technology or textile science.
- Chemistry or polymer chemistry
- Production or manufacturing engineering
- Polymer science or technology
- Materials science and engineering with textile technology
- Materials science or technology
- Fashion and textiles technology
- Vocational and technical training in textile wet processing (preferred) but additional training will be given
Details
- Minimum 2+ years of hands on experience in dyeing, printing and finishing of technical textiles
- This is a Permanent position and salary will be awarded dependent on experience (Hours: 6pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday nightshift)
